Binaal Billa FVLS - Promotions Officer (Full time)

PD - BBFVLS - Promotions Officer - July 2020

The Binaal Billa Family Violence Legal Service unit provides legal advice, support and representation to Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people in regard to domestic/family violence and sexual assault and related areas of law and in accordance with the FVPLS operational framework and casework guidelines established by the BBFVLS unit.

This position requires a highly motivated person, with the capacity to work across cultures to provide a promotional aspect to Binaal Billa within our service area. Regular travel is required to cover the following service areas; Forbes, Parkes, Peak Hill, Condobolin, Lake Cargelligo, Murrinbridge and West Wyalong. This position is based in Forbes and we travel within out service area.

The Binaal Billa Family Violence Legal Service unit provides legal advice, support and representation to Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people in regard to domestic/family violence and sexual assault and related areas of law and in accordance with the FVPLS operational framework and casework guidelines established by the BBFVLS unit.

This position requires a highly motivated person, with the capacity to work across cultures to provide services to ATSI victims/survivors of domestic/family violence and sexual assault. Regular travel is required to cover the following service areas; Forbes, Parkes, Peak Hill, Condobolin, Lake Cargelligo, Murrinbridge and West Wyalong. This position is based in Forbes and we outreach within our service area.
