Making a decision to volunteer is a personal one, be it a sense of social responsibility or personal growth or a way to gain a new perspective of the world or a desire to learn about a different part of the country and/ or Aboriginal culture.
Whatever your reasons, it is a great way to contribute and support local communities in remote and rural New South Wales.
These areas have a lot to offer; friendly people; and interesting sights such as in Dareton you can visit the vineyards and enjoy a trip down the Murray river; or at Bourke travel in a paddle steamer and visit the resting place of a great Australian Fred Hollows; and if you like you can try your hand at hunting for opals at Lightning Ridge.
So if you would like to come and visit us and also volunteer some of your time we would love to have you!
